Combat MBS 05 is a biocide for industrial water treatment. It is particularly suitable for formaldehyde-free emulsions. It is based on 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) and 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). It is recommended for the wet state preservation of a wide range of aqueous products including paints, polymer emulsions

Key Features and Benefits

Is a new generation of no CIT, AOX and organic volatile matter (VOC) synergistic fungicide, especially suitable for formaldehyde sensitive water-based products of wet state antiseptic fungicide. Combat MBS 05 is a broad-spectrum bactericide, used in sealant, latex paint, polymer emulsion, adhesive, porcelain glaze, filler, sealant and other water-based system products.

Application

Latex paint, polymer emulsion, adhesive, porcelain glaze, fillers, sealant and other water-based products in the wet state from harmful microbial pollution, especially suitable for high pH value and environmental protection formula products

Industrial products except food, feed tank anticorrosion, through the control of microbial contamination:

Dispersive coating, polymer emulsion, adhesive, glue, sealant, pigment paste, printing ink, loose putty, kaolin, chalk, starch slurry, leather and textile, cleaning and household care products, building materials, concrete additives, car care products, wax emulsion, moisten plate liquid.

Used to prevent or control the growth of slime molds on the surface of materials, equipment and structures used in industrial processes. For example, porous sands used in wood, pulp, and crude oil extraction:

Slime removal agent, oil field production, pulp and cellulose production, paper making, hydraulic fracturing process, flotation process, metal cutting fluid.

Combat MBS 05 has a synergistic effect on bactericidal properties and has a very broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against bacteria, molds and yeasts that cause contamination and degradation of waterborne products.

Storage and Package

200kg or 1000kg drums.

Placement in transit shall handle with care, not to contact with reductive metals (Fe, Al etc.), nor with oxidative materials. Store in original container and avoid extreme temperature. It is easy to frost, temperature below 1℃ may produce crystallization. But heating to 50℃ at most, the formed crystal will dissolve again, does not affect the performance.

Use levels and Dosage

Under normal use patterns, concentrations of 0.2-0.4% are sufficient in most applications. The actual dosage should be determined with the consideration of the season, environment, water source and the degree of microbial pollution, the precise level required by a specific formulation can be determined by our technical team.
